Colonial Acres is another of Hampton's most established neighborhoods. Consisting of all single family homes, it is located off of Old Buckroe Road near Bloxom's Corner, where Fox Hill Road, Silver Isles Boulevard, and Old Buckroe Road converge. Colonial Acres homes are typically very well kept and many mature trees and well-landscaped lawns adorn the neighborhood. Some Colonial Acres residents enjoy waterfront living with bulkheaded lots along the shores of Salt Ponds offering quick access to the Chesapeake Bay. 

As with many of Fox Hill's communities, local marinas and beaches are very closeby, and Willow Oaks Village Square Shopping Center, home to dozens of business including restaurants, banks, a grocery story, a pharmacy, and many other retail outlets, is just a quick shot down Fox Hill Road. 

Residents traveling to the Southside and the rest of the Peninsula can find several Interstate 64 access points within a 5 to 10 minute drive of home.
